If you have a moment alone and are able to convince yourself not to rush. It feels really good to take a nonsensical path, slow and deliberate, and listen to the trees and spirits you come across, and not gaf if people think you move like a crazy person (helps to do it at night, but be safe always). Release yourself from the social norm of moving like you're always late for an errand

there is a great power in pausing. leave some space for reflection and contemplation; go outside, hop on a canoe and touch grass—bonus points if you had fiona apple blasting in your headsets. sometimes stepping away from the non-stop stimulation of the modern world is the very deep breath you needed.

We all learn to accept it in our own time. There is something special about sitting still, reading, having a glass of water, doing yoga…even just cleaning/cooking and having a podcast on. Taking a walk, going to a bookstore/record shop…anything that will let you be present and get off your phone 🩷
