I kind of wrote about this topic here.
Remember that you can resole most shoes, including most cemended shoes, but it's only worth doing if they're nice shoes in the first place. if they're made of garbage leather, the uppers will look like trash before you ever get them resoled.

this is a bit of a premature rec bc my boots are still at the cobbler... but im confident in this decision. if u are anything like me and buy secondhand shoes that may have been stored poorly (i just ordered this pair of boots and they shipped from miami so chances are they were stored somewhere w high humidity) or are just plain old (the adhesives get weak over time) u have probably dealt w some sole drama. i am happy to say that this is an option for u!!! it also extends their longevity

I've been enjoying new clothes, and experimenting them with fun ways, so much lately that I need to keep reminding myself of this. Not every excursion outside needs to be fresh and new and experimental. If I am going out and I need a warm sweater and I need my sneakers and I already have a fit in mind with those pieces, I can just wear it, I don't need to reinvent the wheel every time.
