I miss traveling. There was a time when it was my whole life goal. Now it's been over a year since I last properly traveled. This picture is from my trip to Japan two years ago, taking the Shinkansen for the first time.
I love public transport and trains (experiencing them in different countries is the best). But is the Shinkansen a bit overrated? Donโt get me wrong, the scenery is stunning, and the little tune at each stop is so charming. But the speed gave me motion sickness, and the windows aren't as big as I expected. Still, such a cool experience!
