I also use a cup but it’s so convenient to have a built in security pad on heavy flow days without dealing with the bulk of a pad! It additionally rocks to not have to worry about anything on that last day when you aren’t sure if the period is over all the way or not. Sustainable uterus-havers stay winning

This period combo is life changing. I never worry about staining anything or running out or overflowing. I never have that horrible sensation of a tampon like sliding out of your body. You can swim! The OG mooncup is the best imo, and I’ve linked the pants I use that aren’t a million quid.

I’ve been using the Rael ones lately which I am loving but there are many brands out there and you can even make your own! It’s an investment at first but saves money overall. Less waste, too. Far more comfortable and then you can do stuff with your menstrual blood (like make plant fertilizer or cast spells) if you’re into that. I don’t really use it for anything but I like that I have the option! They come in a few sizes like disposable pads, too. The panty liners are adorable!

I will never stop begging my friends to switch to a diva cup. It makes your period 70% more manageable. It’s easy and good for the environment and your wallet.

I was going through the Ignatian approach to education today (adapted from the Spiritual Exercises for those keeping track at home) and this tenet is just so good.
St. Ignatius says that a person, “ought to be more eager to put a good interpretation on a neighbor’s statement than to condemn it.Further, if one cannot interpret it favorably, one should ask how the other means it. If the meaning is wrong, one should correct the person with love; if this is not enough, one should search out every appropriate means through which, by understanding the statement in a good way, it may be saved.”
This is very Hanlon’s razor (never attribute to malice what you can attribute to stupidity/ignorance) and I just feel like having a curious posture like this is a major slay and makes us better people

Like look at this shit. Just kinda sick tbh. The Eastern church invented maximalism which is just very slay for them (even if you aren't into God or whatever I feel like you can enjoy old buildings with tons of art everywhere)
