I started making merch under āHoly Ghost Prepā a few years ago not knowing itās an actual school. Iāve gotten stopped a few times + Iāve had friends ask if theyāve attended in the past. My thing is likeā¦their merch is pretty bad. Iām waiting for either (A) a cease and desist or (B) a job offer to manage their creative department.
All jokes aside, I have a few misc shirts left from a prev design that pokes fun at culty religious private schools with a āGOOD AND SAFE CHRISTIAN EDUCATION FOR ALLā tag line. it might not seem like the most "integrity" forward thing to come back on here to hock my new, semi-ironic, semi-deadly serious tee shirt brand (the world needs another!) but I promise...it lowkey is! This year has been a doozy, dear followers (hence my absence from this wonderful site) and when driven to the brink like I have and continue to be, nothing feels better than designing and selling your own merch for a good cause. I genuinely believe the people need to hear the good word of speaking, thinking and acting with integrity but also all of the proceed go to this awesome organization I found that's working tirelessly in Appalachia to stop harmful mining practices. A niche but extremely impactful cause! So cool.....

Iām a merchandise designer for bands and my small dream is to see someone I donāt know wearing something I designed, even better if itās not at that bandās concert. Not sure whether I would say anything to them about it or just keep it to myself

[for yourself not for sale, unless u want to] my entry level deadhead status is showing but I absolutely LOVE just coming up with my own design for a band / artist Im a fan of. I use a heat press on some thrifted shirts and go to TOWN. Sorry but thereās a very limited selection of cool Liz Phair shirts for cheap so why not just make my own sick ass design. I feel like thereās a special connectivity on this app that I havenāt felt in a long time, maybe since early 2010ās tumblr. The fact that you canāt promote yourself like IG is wonderful. The fact that there isnāt mass video content like Tik Tok is great. Itās not this monetized / paid sponsorship app. People are here because they want to be a part of something with nothing to gain besides friendship. Seeing the URL -> IRL meetups warms my heart so much (waiting for an NYC or Brooklyn meetup).
Thanks for your participation on this niche little app. I smile reading all the recs and all the comments and all the asks. Hope weāll all be here for a long time.

I think a life rule for me is to surround myself with people who know more / are smarter / are cooler than me and just absorb their aura by listening / observing them. Itās made me the incredibly smart / cool person you all know and love.
I just never thought Iād feel the same way about URL friends. Iām constantly listening to the songs I see posted here, reading the articles, subbing to newsletters, and googling topics that get tossed onto the feed.
Itās nice to know you can become a more rounded person by just absorbing what your mutuals post on here. Iām going to sit on my couch, have a cocktail and digest my lovely feed. Happy Sunday!
