I'm watching rick and morty and I don't know if I like it or hate it, I don't understand why the dudes went nuts with the show a while back but, I do find it... strangely entertaining, so bad it is good???
i feel guilty ignoring the unhinged scenes from time to time but that's what makes it an adult show, right?? im also happy they changed directors if all that crap is real but the incest jokes are like jumpscares to me, if there's one in the next episode I'm finna stop watching this

Really truly baffled/annoyed at the lack of attention this show is getting.. everyone should be talking about this. Could be triggering to some, so read up and tread lightly if you think itd hit too hard. But I really was blown away at the bravery of Richard Gadd (who wrote this based on his own experience/life and played himself/a character of himself…!!) and was crying sooo bad at the last two episodes … so utterly devastating, confusing, a shock to the system, but to me that definitely falls into the category of good TV. Especially these days where I feel Netflix shows are .. what you’d expect Netflix shows to be. So fucking good 😭😭😭😭😭

Ok so to start I saw Benedict cumberpatch was in it and not like excited about that but he did good so ig I can’t say anything LOL now for the actual review: This was NOT what I expected, but like in a great way. I thought this was going to be one following detectives and police and idk just like other crime shows but it was much cooler.
It follows Vincent, the creator/a pupeteer in a children’s show who is also a shitty dude and shitty father, makes everyone miserable, but it seems like his son still looks up to him. But his home life isn’t great, his parents have loud arguments where things get thrown, his dad has a bad attitude towards him, etc. One day Vincint is asked to walk his 9 year old son to school, but he doesn’t and he goes missing. In a New York prior to cell phones, the story takes place in a time where we still see cases of racism, homophobia, corruption, and a large homeless population rumored to be hiding underground. Regretting his choices but still not getting along with his wife, the perspective changes between multiple characters and their search to find Edgar. Full of this regret for how he treated his son the night before and day of, we watch this father spiral, go back to his bad habits, and hallucinate the character his son has created.
There’s a lot more to it, but I’m worried my phones ab out to crash and don’t want to spoil bht it was really interesting and good, I would recommend it!

Nothing better than giving someone a little squeeze to show them you got them. It’s always great when someone can sense that you need it and add a little something to the hug. Don’t settle for a dap. Get in there.

I have no context at all but I love it. Feels like I’m missing out but that’s alright it’s just good to hear somebody having a big ol belly laugh and enjoying this shit while we’re breathing.
