comforting familiarity

Getting up early for work is terrible, but at least when I’m commuting on the train I get to see the same group of people at my station platform waiting to go to work too. Never talk to each other, but it’s nice to know that they’re there as usual like we’re all in this together, and that the next time I’ll see them will be when I’m coming back home, especially today for the weekend!

intentionally seeing just how long minutes feel like in moments like these also i guess for some reason u weren‘t supposed to be in that place at that time and tbf you cannot really do anything about it anyways so ease into it

does anyone remember these little things? came across one recently when i was clearing out some junk. used to get sooooooo hype about these cuz they felt so high tech at the time. made me really appreciative of how easy it is to listen to music now on the go :)
