This takes less than a minute. I do this mostly when Iβm in nature or other beautiful surroundings. I say one thing I observe in the environment for each of the five senses. For example, I smell the salty ocean air, I feel the breeze on my face, I hear the birds singing, etc. Doing this causes me to slow down and really take in the present moment.

very long read, complex story. my favorite book. before i even finished reading it i knew iβd decide to read again one day. without spoiling iβll say it involves twin brothers and absolutely expanded my perspective of loveβ¦was made into a limited series as well, which is fun
