i firmly believe that nothing is as intoxicating or intense or dreamy as teenage girl friendships, and this documentary shoves you right in the sticky, messy heart of them
my profound attachment to this movie is probably something i should unpack with a therapist... nonetheless, it is absolutely nasty, creepy, and reminiscent of all the aspects of girlhood i struggled with the most. u should definitely check it out :)
One of my favorite movies from growing up. Gave my music obsessed self unrealistic expectations to what my life would be like and a whole lot of wardrobe envy. Still such a comfort film for me today as long as I donβt think too deeply about the plot.
