When I was a younger, I never liked "Megan", it didn't feel like it fit me. Whenever I went someplace new where people wouldn't have to know me for a long time, I tried out different names for myself to see what would fit, but nothing else really did. As an adult, I finally feel like Megan/Meg is right. I've come to appreciate the ways my friends have shaped it and made it their own little codeword for me, like Mego, Mango, even my username Meggle came from friends. I finally feel at home in Megan, it just took me a bit of time.

😃I loved it. Megh means clouds in my language and I feel like it really suits me. Too bad my parents changed my name when I was young... It's a rare name too!

🕷I've gone by so many nicknames that everybody thinks it odd to call me by my real name at all (some people even get it wrong), so I've accepted having different names from different people. I've always liked my name, especially since my mom put so much thought into it (even the fact it would make a good nick name), but unfortunately I feel like it no longer represents me. I've sorta outgrown it, so Im sorta looking for a new name. Either way the name that matters is the one you feel most aligned with.

🕷cause i picked it. i love it but i honestly never had a big zap moment where i immediately just knew it was right, more like it checked all my boxes and felt like something i could grow into. like there is a very cool complete person attached to that name and im working to live up to her. im also still very much getting used to it.

🐸Shows are impossible to go to, now. The entire Ticketmaster platform is filled with scalpers that TM choose to foster, rather than ensure that fans can see artists perform. (Yes, I'm salty because yet another performer's presale is on and tickets are "Verified Resale" for $500+ each.)
I just want so badly for everyone to stop spending thousands of dollars on shit seats so the industry caves in on itself and makes way for progress. Concerts are not supposed to be this way, and we aren't getting there if people keep throwing a $2000 ticket on their credit card for 300-level seats.
Don't be the frog boiling in the water, HOP OUT OF THE POT!
