My favorite compliments

Recently my favorite compliments to give have been to describe someone by saying “to know them is to love them” or, after hanging out with a friend, i like telling them that it was the highlight of my day/week/month. of course I only say these things when I mean it. What are some of your current favorite compliments to give?

the way the light settles on their eyelashes, their outfit, a wonderful performance, a subtle acknowledgement: trading complements as you pass each other in the bathroom. sharing the joy others bring to your life is so powerful.

It's just like John Swartzwelder said: "Since writing is very hard and rewriting is comparatively easy and rather fun, I always write my scripts all the way through as fast as I can, the first day, if possible […] Then the next day, when I get up, the script’s been written.
