To-do lists because they make you feel like you did the most efficient thing with your time, you knock out things that you needed to do anyway. Time tracking to make sure you're making the most out of your time. At some point, I was insanely tracking my days by 15-minute intervals, it keeps you on your toes but also made me feel bad if I spent some time daydreaming.
But honestly, and this might be because I have many responsibilities and am a busy person, having nothing on my schedule but still choosing to go outside and see what random adventure life takes me on is my favorite thing to do on a free day. Yes Man Style.

15 min intervals is mind-blowing, but I got mad respect for you. Maybe I should have mentioned that my adhd goes dummy and usually to-do lists resonate as doodles in my mind 😃 but I try…maybe if I had a greater North Star/ purpose it would be easier to make these finite lists…usually my shit’s like “open back account / remove gel polish / lentil curry?? / portfolio” and none of those things congeal to form a greater outcome or achievement…so they feel so meaningless standing there on their own. Sorry for the long spiel. Appreciate you 🫵🏽

rooibean or maybe some soul/purpose searching - which can be a little uncomfortable but experimenting can be fun! Finding purpose in life is finding those things that make you feel fulfilled and happy so if you have nothing but time, you can try making a list of things that you're curious about but maybe too timid to try and try it anyway. I see you vlog too, you can expand on the things you do like lentil curry (that sounds delicious btw) and work on perfecting your recipes, filming your trial and error, sharing your food with friends or strangers, etc! I feel like you would like this channel (if you don't already follow her) but this vlogger spends most of her time at home but never really seems bored of her day-to-day. https://www.youtube.com/@michellechoii As long as it makes you happy, I say there's meaning & purpose in that. (-: best of luck!!!

Just helps me visualize more what I need to do, what the priorities are for the day, etc. I could do them monthly, weekly and daily depending on how overwhelmed and/or busy I am.

i need structure to survive and it helps to add things to my calendar, because in my brain it's like i've "signed up" to do something for a certain amount of time. whether its a hobby, workout, researching a project, an errand etc it goes in my calendar or to-do list. even if i already did x thing that day, i put it on the list just to cross it off which feels nice :-) it helps me not gaslight myself into thinking i didn't do anything because i can look at the list!

Timers timers timers. I find that timers keep me on track, help when I don’t want to do a task but I must, and help space out my day in chunks. I get the most done in any category (job, chores, personal, art/hobby) when I use a timer
