“where should i eat?” i foolishly asked a pigeon who was walking toward me. it looked up, nodded, turned, then walked a bit in the other direction. i followed. it stopped. turned back. “yes, i’m still here” i said. it looked up at me, then back down the road. i followed its line of sight to a mexican restaurant. i thought, what a friendly bird! i ordered and was so pleased with myself. the two days following were an avalanche of diarrhea and vomit. that bird knew exactly what it was doing. sneaky little shit.

there was a pigeon with a broken wing stuck on our balcony and we spent the day trying to get it on the ground. i filmed its journey and plan on making a stupid little vlog about it. my friend suggested we walk it down by getting it in the apartment and then in the elevator. i said that’s very stupid and she said its a smart idea. i gave up and started a 500 piece puzzle. she kept trying to get it up. after a while she got it up the balcony wall. scared and it dropped down. it survived. i haven’t finished my puzzle yet. a day well spent.
