I interned at one for two summers!!! That’s where I fell in love with opossums 💗 we had baby raccoons we’d slowly move out into the wild and at some point I couldn’t snuggle them anymore. They’d come up and want to climb on me and I’d very unenthusiastically be like no… don’t… stop… 🥰 literally the best experience and I MISS IT!!

A Local animal rescue for reptiles and amphibians

I was smiling and laughing but then I started crying I think because I was so touched at the obvious care that shines through in the descriptions they write for these little creatures + just the fact that they’re doing this for animals that are often neglected abused and overlooked. I had never thought about the concept of a rescue for reptiles and amphibians before but here they are 🥹

Shoutout to the men who devote their lives to trapping these adorable little cocksuckers who can’t help but get their necks wrapped in fishing wire. It’s really sweet when they bark in confused anger at first but then are stunned into silence once freed.

Found this beauty today sadly passed covered in water. They are perfectly intact!!!! if you ever stumble on a creature that has passed try to preserve their beauty if you can! If you do want to start in taxidermy please just research and do it humanly! these little creatures deserve as much respect as we do <3
