I love asking friends family strangers on the internet questions I could surely answer for myself. It keeps a conversation going, or is a fantastic start. I think it can also give ppl a chance to show off and talk about stuff they’re passionate about.
Don’t ask Google etc. ask a friend instead to explain to you stuff: Like yo can you explain fantasy football to me pls or do you know the income bracket so I can stay in this tax bracket or have you ever made caramel at home what should I be on alert for? What qs do you ask your friends? Any surprising knowledge shared?
Ask someone you know will know the answer; even though you can Google it, it’s nice seeing the happiness cross their face when they tell you about the things they know.
Gazpacho only in the late summer, persimmons only in the winter, etc. just because we can import anything from anywhere anytime doesn’t mean we should. Nothing is special if you can have it whenever you want it.
