I just recently got this pair from HeelBoy (canadian store) and love them! They're a lil different from the ballet flats I used to wear in like 2013 and I like the Mary-jane detail and square toe. I have to say though I don't mind following trends and appreciate when they show me a style/item in a new light, especially with all of the 90s/00s revivals. But I bet you can make it your own :)

🩰I wear mine, uh, literally everyday. Summer, winter; galas! When one pair gets too dirty and too worn-thin I buy another of the exact same pair. Pale pink base. Turquoise lettering. Cherry-red shadows. String tied in double knotted bows so they never come undone. It’s big Gossip Girl 2010’s energy and that is an energy that I am all about. Life was good! Natalie and I were still friends! I wasn’t addicted to Adderall yet! I literally had no idea that one of my best friends would sell me out for $5,000 to The Cut, take credit for my entire brand, and try to make it seem like I was never an addict at all! Buy these shoes!

1 was at a party yesterday wearing my old red ballerina flats. i have had them for years, probably over ten years at this point. i still remember when i bought them, 1 was 15 and a bit awkward and i knew they were out of fashion but i liked them so much that i didn't care. i wore them once to school, people made fun of me... so i didn't wear them for years.
lately i've been wearing them again, they're comfortable and still cute. it wasn't until yesterday evening, when i went to the toilet that i realized how much i liked them. it was about 3am and i was kinda drunk, but i took a cute pic of them.

🔫I think if you're in a position to quit your job and rest/work on something you care about, I would do it. That kind of opportunity doesn't come often, and most people will never have it. I'd say especially if you're facing chronic pain or having doctors order you to rest, you'll only regret NOT resting and prioritising your health. Capitalism continues to win when we work our entire lives away.

📚This might be old news to some but if you're someone who likes to track their reading I highly recommend Storygraph. They provide you with much more interesting data about your reading habits (graphs!) are Black woman founded and run, not affiliated at all with amazon like Goodreads is, and have a more interactive rating system that gives better insight than just stars. What's even better is they have a way to import your goodreads data if you already feel invested in that app.
Divest from amazon and delete ur goodreads!! :) :)
