⭐Every January I binge all of Madonna’s music and I’ve come to my conclusion that my favorite iteration of Madge’s music is when she goes for a more somber midtempo semi-ambient moment (I don’t think I’m describing this accurately, but What It Feels Like for a Girl, Drowned World/Substitute for Love, you could maybe even throw Get Together on here). I think it’s just an exciting lane for her because I think of her as this loud and brash figure, so when she goes for a quieter and more laid back moment it’s really attention grabbing. Woah!!!! I totally queened out writing this. Check please!

⭐I feel like growing up every band or musician besides super huge pop stars was just normal looking. Not weird in a cool way and not perfectly curated. Just actually weird or actually normal. I miss that. Everyone is too hot now. To quote Silver Jews,
"What's with all the handsome grandsons In these rock band magazines? What have they done with the fat ones? The bald and the goateed?"
