i think it's funny when you ask someone for their socials and they have to tell you their username. it's often a silly series of letters. how did you find yours? is it the same everywhere?

if i cant make my handle my full name then im going to veer severely in the other direction. id rather be known by some random string of words or a vague allusion to something i really like than a bastardisation of my name rife with disjointedly placed dots/underscores/numbers in place of letters. it makes u hard to find on social media but who cares? the chase is half the fun anyway.
my ig @ is adventuresclosetohome and every time i give that to someone at a party or wherever they ask what my schtick is. little do they know im covertly signalling to a group of musically likeminded insiders, iykyk!
