Stream of consciousness write for two reasons: it allows the subconscious, which has been working all night to provide solutions for your life in your sleep, to be heard; secondly, you’ll find that it’s probably the most honest you’ll be with yourself throughout the day.

put a notebook and pen by your bed, and as soon as you wake up, grab the notebook and write 1, 2, 3 pages stream of consciousness, whatever comes up on your mind. don’t check your phone, don’t talk to your partner, don’t do anything besides get a tea or glass of water or coffee until you’re done writing.

kinda gas u just write whatever pops in your head without thinking. sometimes it makes absolutely no sense. most of the time u end up with something quite interesting! also just carrying ur journal around and trying to write whenever u have downtime helps, u got this ! :P

I‘ve never laughed so hard at a movie. The ending is particularly humorous. Based off of a novel by Percival Everett called Erasure. Well written. Well acted. And well done.

For a basketball obsessed 12 year old, this was an amazing three hour watch.
As a fairly naive, rural, Idaho kid, it really opened my eyes to some of the complexities of being a highly sought-after college basketball recruit while having to navigate inner city culture.
There will probably never be another documentary like this one. Social media and AAU ball have changed the high school basketball landscape.
