Never would've guessed I'd be a "little dog dude" but here we are. Chihuahuas kick ass. No better feeling than lifting the blanket to make room for a small friend or two to come in and get cozy.
They get a bad rep- blame it on misrepresentation in film/tv, toxic masculinity, aggressive kids that reach for their eyeballs, the trauma imposed on them by bad pet owners, etc. Once they sense your gentle ways, they’ll just want to make a bed out of your lap. Whats to hate about a permanently puppy sized dog?
My dad teases me about how when I was a little kid, my favorite thing to do when I was on the landline phone with somebody—be it a relative or one of my best friends—was to breathlessly describe the things that were in my bedroom so that they could have a mental picture of everything I loved and chose to surround myself with, and where I sat at that moment in time.
