They get a bad rep- blame it on misrepresentation in film/tv, toxic masculinity, aggressive kids that reach for their eyeballs, the trauma imposed on them by bad pet owners, etc. Once they sense your gentle ways, they’ll just want to make a bed out of your lap. Whats to hate about a permanently puppy sized dog?
so much hate in this world for these little guys. yes they are neurotic and often behave badly. but think of all the people you love who are also neurotic and behave badly. they are rotten and lovely in the most special way.
They're misunderstood little guys who act up when they're treated poorly but are actually very sweet and I also have large expressive eyes and an apple shaped head so feels accurate
