It may be my avoidant or counter culture tendencies, but with the prevalence of brat summer I wanna go in the opposite direction with this bluegrass album. I feel a resurgence in actual country music now that post-9/11 reactionary conservative country has gone full on brain rot. (it literally struck me so hard when I realized pop-country music is just childrens music for maga.) So I’m happy to start finding the true voices of the genre.

A lot of amazing bangers already rec’d here, but no one has suggested “the perfect country western song” ! Also any of the Madisons albums for more modern country, “You Can Take Your Sorry Ass Back to West Texas” is my fav
