If you are interested in programming in any way, I think this is a very nice piece for you. It explains very well what can happen in your brain when you grapple with the most important concepts in programming.
I liked learning how to program because it felt like I made the world stop spinning in a very fast pace. It felt kind of like putting my claws into the rotating orb and making it move slower.
My friend and I were discussing the loss of knowledge when we no longer reinvent the wheel; the vastness of human knowledge and industrial science is so complex now that most people dont know how to reinvent most things. I have no idea how to write binary code and speak to the machines if all compilers stop working.
But I know how to write code that the compilers compile. So that is nice
i’ve been coding for more than half my life and lately i feel like i’ve reached a breakthrough where it’s all just second nature. i’m in a flow state every time…
If you used to be into basketball but haven't done it in ages, buy a good ball (composite) so you can shoot some hoops whenever, like in the morning sun to wake up
One of the lesser known but also one of the nicest imho. "Shape-shifting raccoons band together to save their forest homeland from the bulldozers of greedy land developers"
