Gregg Araki makes films like no one else. one of the most important voices of the new queer cinema of the 90s, he is the king of these strange and angsty underground independent films that have this DIY feeling and follow mostly queer characters.
Nowhere (1997) in particular is an absolute masterpiece and a personal favorite of mine.
I think everyone should watch all of Gregg Araki’s films. I’m not gonna get too deep into it cause I don't want to give away all the sauce. So if you're reading this it's up to you go and find it for yourself.
