"ᙎᥱ'ꙆꙆ ⳽ᖾoω ყoᥙ ᥲ ωoɾꙆᑯ tᖾᥲt ყoᥙ'ʋᥱ ᥒot ⳽ᥱᥱᥒ ᑲᥱƒoɾᥱ, ᥲᥒᑯ ωᖾᥲt ᥲᥒ ᥲᑯʋᥱᥒtᥙɾᥱ ɩ⳽ ωᥲɩtɩᥒɠ ɩᥒ ⳽toɾᥱ!" digitized, truncated versions of the classic movies, with added games and language learning hearmeouthearmeouTHEARMEOUT WAIT JUST A SEC-- some of these have like a weird amount of effort put into them. like good ui, good interpretations of the music, good sounds effects, simple but cute games. they'll even have weird little features that just make it feel interesting. for example, in the little mermaid one, ariel, sebastian and URSULA are the narrators, but they're also just like...there. the whole time. meaning you get ursula's color commentary throughout the whole thing AND SHE'S SUCH A BITCH I LOVE IT (talking about eric: "Yes, he's a very handsome man, if you're into that sort of thing" PFFF) like i'm gonna go out on a limb and say it: the best version of 101 dalmatians is the disney interactive storybook aND NO IM NOT KIDDING. it has all the best elements of the cartoon and the live action weirdly enough (believe it or not, the idea that cruella was a fashion designer only became a thing in the glenn close movies! in the original she's just a rich lady that likes fur. ALSO in the original she's anita's "school friend," but it just makes so much more sense for their dynamic that anita's her employee), the sketchy style lends itself well to the digitized version, it has elements that make sense for this specific version (in the movie roger's a struggling musician, in the game he's a struggling video game designer! AND YOU GET TO PLAY HIS GAME!!), it trims the fat, THERE'S ADDED SONGS THERE WERE NO SONGS IN THE MOVIE AND THE ADDED SONGS FUCKING SLAP BITCH I KNOW EVERY WORD OF THE TWILIGHT BARK TO👏THIS👏DAY👏 n ee waze yeah these are fun. i'm pretty sure all of them are available on youtube in full, i like to throw them on to go to sleep sometimes. give 'em a gander if you want to feel a nostalgia gut punch with the force of 1000 suns

a British d-list animation studio. You can find a good handful of their movies on youtube. They were mostly producing through the 80s and 90s. A lot of stories that disney has versions of, and some around the same time like knock-off styley. Somewhere around 2015 I picked up a DVD from goodwill that had "6 family classics" (always buy these compilation DVDs). One of them was Bevanfield's adaptation of "beauty and the beast". this is the one I have linked. it makes me laugh so much when i watch it with my friends. somehow christopher lee does one of the voices and he does a bad french accent. My second favorite is "jungle book". The editing is so uncanny as to seem intentionally off. I assumed for a long time they were poor quality dubs of a dutch animation studio or something so I lost it when i learned recently its a british studio. The drawing style changes often and theres moments you can tell that they were tracing drawings from disney characters. The music is also very good in these p.s. if you look them up dont watch the stupid reaction videos of people watching bevanfield movies, theres a few of those to avoid

this is just one of those pieces of lost media from childhood thats randomly stored in my brain next to disney channel bumpers and skits from “now, a word from us kids!” it’s from a croatian animated feature called Lapitch the Little Shoemaker and i really think the visual style and music holds up. they truly did not have to go so hard for a cartoon about a mouse that went straight to VHS and barely anyone would see but THEY DID 😭🫶🏼

This 1970-something animated movie is available on Youtube in full as well as some archival sites. I watched it for the first time with a date, and as one Letterboxd user states, it was “more intimate than anal”. I don’t even care to spoil or preface it for you, I’ll just say it’s got some spectacular watercolor art animations and great tattoo ideas.

or junk journaling, if you'd like to not perpetuate myths about crows liking to collect trinkets. i just think it sounds cuter weirdly, as someone who's a writer, i've never really been good at or liked journaling. every planner i've ever owned has remained empty. if i try to write something any time other than when the fancy strikes me, it just feels inauthentic, like i'm trying too hard. this has been the first time journaling actually felt like it had a purpose for me, and actually felt weirdly therapeutic basically, it's just anything i can recycle, i make into a page. i like a common theme, so places i've visited, media i like, similar aesthetics, emotions i'm feeling. and then we get the qr code page & i'm reminded that this is probably the quintessential depiction of what scoring 121 on the RAADS-R looks like eh, i'm having fun🤷‍♀️

"Why would you make out of words a cage for your own bird? When it sings so sweet The screaming, heaving fuckery of the world?" the crooner's sophomore outing, finding beauty and hope amidst the end of the world loved unreal unearth, loved the debut. but if you ask me, this is his strongest album. there's something about the imagery invoked in this album that is so specific, but feels so unique to him. that underwater cover art kinda encompasses that; normally when we think of wastelands, its just dry nothingness for miles. but this feels very "noah's ark flood" end of the world. the calm before the storm, the storm, and the aftermath the VOCALS on this thing go apeshit btw this also just has some of my favorite songs of his. MOVEMENT is criminally slept on. shrike is so bittersweet and beautiful. dinner & diatribes and almost (sweet music) are absolute jams. talk...? TALK?!! jesus christ. i can't listen to the title track without weeping. there's such a melancholy that almost makes me sick but it's like...the hug you'd want from a loved one as the world caves in good time😃! emotional damage😃! have fun😃!
