We bought a Birdbuddy for my father-in-law for Christmas, and I was able to set it up for him this last weekend. He was so confused by it until now. He loves it. A blue jay visited right away, but now there are cardinals, wrens, and sparrows.

get a bird feeder or get bird seed and put it on the ground if you have to and watch them do bird things all day it's fun and you're helping the birds eat in the winter! (where I am, at least)

The desk I work from and make all my music at is technically our dining room, and is 3 feet from the couch and 6 feet from the kitchen, but we’re fortunate to have amazing views like this. It smelled amazing at this moment too, so we took the dog for a walk.

As someone on the spectrum, I ask that you learn about autism and its effects on a person living with it. And I don’t mean reading about it on Wikipedia, I mean reading about people’s lived experience. “If you meet someone with autism, you’ve met one person with autism.“ At the very least, know that not everyone is “a little bit autistic” and every autistic person’s experience is unique. So you’ll never really understand it completely, but you could learn to support someone in your life who has it. 🤍

Not all playground art needs to be representational murals in primary colors. Check out how inspiring this handball court near my apartment in Brooklyn is.
