I used to live in nyc, and one day as I was making my way to my train home from work, I spotted a familiar face walking in front of me.
instead of, I don’t know, being a normal person and leaving him the fuck alone, my intrusive thoughts won and I went straight up to him and asked “are you rodrick?” He just went “uh… yeah.”
I then realized that he was in Oppenheimer which had just received a bunch of Oscar nominations at the time, so I just went “congrats on Oppenheimer!” And he said thanks and I walked away quickly.
