I used to live in nyc, and one day as I was making my way to my train home from work, I spotted a familiar face walking in front of me. instead of, I don’t know, being a normal person and leaving him the fuck alone, my intrusive thoughts won and I went straight up to him and asked “are you rodrick?” He just went “uh… yeah.” I then realized that he was in Oppenheimer which had just received a bunch of Oscar nominations at the time, so I just went “congrats on Oppenheimer!” And he said thanks and I walked away quickly. Sorry to bro but ur still a legend

i heard some filming was taking place for something called ‘&sons’ in worcester college, so my bf and i headed over there. we expected that it’d be a cordoned off area or something but no - they were just filming in the entryway. we got ushered aside and made to stand with the actual film crew, and seconds later the actor Bill Nighy in full old man makeup ran right past, followed by the cameras and boom mics and shouting ’ANDY!! ANDY!!’ so guys, think of me when that scene airs. i was right there. nighy had a nice suit.

you just never know when you’ll need to plug in and escape into your own little world with some tunes. and YES I will keep using the wired ones because god knows the wireless ones will die on you at the most inconvenient time possible !!!

as was the case with many young girls growing up in the 2010s, I was a hardcore directioner from their very first album. I was lucky enough to see them in concert when I was 13, and their music carried me through my early adolescence. flash forward a few years to 2017, I’m just starting my freshman year of college, and I happen to form a bond with a girl in my orientation group over our shared love of 1D. said girl went on to become one of my closest college friends, sophomore year roommate (we had matching harry & zayn tapestries on our wall), and sister for life. reconnecting with her this past year following liam payne’s sudden tragic passing turned out to be exactly what my heart needed at this strange point in life after turning 25. love you long time, Amisha! ❤️

if I Spy books were as big a part of your childhood as they were mine, you already know the cozy, liminal space vibes that they convey. revisiting some of those images in my adulthood just brings back such a strong feeling of comfort and peace. some of my personal favorites: Treasure Hunt, Christmas, Spooky Night
