Wow this is fantastic it’s a slow and meditative noir detective thriller series and its beautifully made and Colin Farrell is genuinely the coolest fucking guy of all time I think

We threw this on in the background on a random dinner night, and I got so hooked and finished the entire series the same week. The setup felt like a StateFarm commercial, except the narrator is Colin Kaepernick and it revolves around how he “navigated race, class, and culture”. You don’t have to be a football fan to like this one, it’s a great short series!

My friend and collaborator, filmmaker Faraz Shariat, sent me a screener link to this new series he produced in Germany. No spoilers: it's about two 20-something best friends in Hamburg, and I think it captures something about contemporary culture that we haven't seen yet on screen. Very funny and entertaining, yes, but also bafflingly nuanced and troubling. Lamin Leroy Gibba created the show and plays the lead: he is amazing.

It’s like Twin Peaks if it took place in Alaska and nothing evil or creepy ever happened. Touching, heartwarming, and thoughtful and with some very sexy cast members. recently became available on streaming for the first time EVER

Just beautiful fruits (look at these plums) and just so delicious even when they’re not technically in season
I could (and do) eat five peaches a day

I got a humidifier at target cause it’s getting dry and that’s something I would typically overlook but for some reason I remembered the spongebob humidifier my parents used to always put in my room and I thought about how many things just for like comfort or health that I stopped doing that were just like everyday things my parents did when I was a kid

for the most part every movie I see, book I read, meal I eat, album I listen to, place I travel to is the greatest thing I’ve ever experienced
(Maybe it just means I’m easy to please but I don’t mind because it leads to many enjoyable experiences!)
