Local and in season

I have to agree with Ms. soft that peaches are my favorites. I thought I had eaten peaches before but I did not truly eat a peach until I moved to Ohio. The beginning of peach season is one of my most eagerly anticipated events and I buy them from my favorite farmer—a rotund old man in a red shirt and overalls— by the crateful. Part of the fun is definitely the way they just explode all over you with juice when you eat them. Once I ate a peach next to a waterfall and it was transcendent. I love raspberries, strawberries, and especially blueberries when they’re in season—strawberry and raspberry seasons burn much too fast but blueberries grow for far longer. Big fan of cherries (I love weird tart bush cherries) and plums. A little seedless watermelon with Tajin… Tomatoes the unsung hero fruits. And shoutout to citrus fruits for holding it down I do buy lemons all year long.

Peaches

I buy them by the crate at the farmer’s market when they’re in season. Blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, cherries, CRANBERRIES (underrated), lemons, limes, blood oranges, grapefruits, pomegranates, plums, banana only if I’m baking it into banana bread. All other fruits are irrelevant to me

Doing things for yourself that your parents used to do when you were a kid

I got a humidifier at target cause it’s getting dry and that’s something I would typically overlook but for some reason I remembered the spongebob humidifier my parents used to always put in my room and I thought about how many things just for like comfort or health that I stopped doing that were just like everyday things my parents did when I was a kid

Everything being the greatest thing youve ever experienced

for the most part every movie I see, book I read, meal I eat, album I listen to, place I travel to is the greatest thing I’ve ever experienced (Maybe it just means I’m easy to please but I don’t mind because it leads to many enjoyable experiences!)

seriously a perfect movie It’s 90 min and is just the funniest movie you’ll ever see like every single scene is insanely funny Matthew Lillard Also there’s a scream from a guy who walks into a bathroom at one point that is incredible If you’re high you will literally laugh at every single line every character says Then watch more John waters (Cecil b. demented, hairspray, polyester and crybaby are the only others I’ve seen but they are all just so great)
