working at a grocery store should be listed in the geneva conventions. BUT, if you speak to customers sometimes and make up a new backstory everytime, it’s not so bad ig. it’s really fun when you have to keep up a game when they come back into the store and remember what accent/backstory you gave them. we had a running game, a coworker of mine had 4 different personalities with 4 different customers and only messed up when two came in on the same day.

one of my go-to’s is coming up with a scenario like “do you know someone with (weirdly specific features) cus i just heard them talking about someone and it sounded like your name” and i fully commit to the bit to the point where i have to consider cutting them off because it’s getting too serious.
