Iām cheating because I definitely have admitted to this, in fact I vehemently defended them on a podcast once. I donāt really have any pleasure I find guilty (I am cringe and I am free). But theyāre one of the bands in the U.K. thatās cool to hate. And people are often weirded out when I say they were a big influence. Samās Town is one of the best albums of all time and I WILL fight you on that.

One time I found a podcast about Remain in Light (my favourite album of all time) with an interesting guest and one of the hosts wouldn't stop comparing the album to King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. He also didn't know basic facts about Talking Heads and did that thing where he listens to you by talking over you. If you like this band then I'm sorry, you're probably a good person, but oh my god I have never wanted someone to shut the fuck up so bad.

My Chemical Romanceās āThree Cheers For Sweet Revengeā has been my go to album for a couple of weeks now. Itās honestly such a perfect punk rock album, that even the most casual fan could enjoy it, knowing the intended storyline just adds more to an already great album. I truly and honestly believe the My Chem guys are like this generationās Beatles, theyāve pioneered so many things in the music scene and no one can truly do it like them.
