One time I found a podcast about Remain in Light (my favourite album of all time) with an interesting guest and one of the hosts wouldn't stop comparing the album to King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. He also didn't know basic facts about Talking Heads and did that thing where he listens to you by talking over you. If you like this band then I'm sorry, you're probably a good person, but oh my god I have never wanted someone to shut the fuck up so bad.
spencerto TBH…I’ve never had a desire to actively listen to a modern jam band. It’s just not for me! Surely they must have some songs that slap - they have more live albums than recorded albums.
truttos If I wanted to listen to some talented musicians improvise with no breaks I would listen to jazz! What's the draw of rock if not its efficiency?
