Started a new habit where I wake up and immediately read a few pages of my book instead of getting lost in my phone for those first minutes of the morning. Makes me feel more balanced and accomplished as I start my day.
I’m thinking tailors, watch repair, framers. I’ve been rediscovering these in my area from an older friend passing down knowledge. They are delightful pockets of community and we gotta support them so they don’t disappear.
I’ve been spending more time on self-care and recently discovered the luxury of taking a hot bath. It’s fantastic. I love turning my little bathroom into a spa. Lighting up some candles, and really committing to relaxation.
