My parents started calling me Buggie because I had big buggy eyes as a baby apparently 😭
It morphed into buggie-boo, buggie-boodle, and plain old bug throughout the years. My dad stopped calling me that when my parents divorced (I was a teen). My mom persists despite my best efforts when I was in college. I’ve given up and think it’s cute. I am well into my thirties lol.

Even if you have other creative pursuits that require your brain to work, it’s fun to have one that requires very little thought or attention. I started crocheting a couple years ago and it’s perfect while sitting in front of the TV or listening to a podcast or just zoning out. Makes me feel productive even as my brain melts out my ears, and makes me feel creative even when I’m not doing any cooler, more challenging projects that require more of my energy.
