there is a special place in my heart for this play.
it is able to articulate the exact feeling of resentment as well as joy for a loved one getting out of a hard situation when you are still going through it.
its romantic, in its own definitive way - and lives with you days, months, and even years after reading.
i would give anything to see the pbs special of viola davis and rosie perez performing this

probably my favourite play ever. a scorchingly brilliant adaptation of one of the first english language plays ever written (Everyman). was lucky enough to act in it during my final semester of university. if you're into weird shit about death and morality i couldn't recommend anything more.

To anyone that has the opportunity to watch Woyzeck (by Georg Büchner) please do.
It’s an amazing play and I don’t think it can ever be done badly.
Bonus points if it’s in its native language (german)
If you can’t watch it, I recommend to read it. There is a film as well, but that’s a very strange film. But go for it.
I love the play I visited with my class/teacher.
