Pigeons

Our ancient interspecies partners, now orphaned in exile. Have you ever seen a pigeon nest? They need us. We will need them. How are you going to send letters to your best friend when society collapses? Better get a pigeon now and start training. I'm partial to the classic Rock Dove style but look at their range! So many colors, shapes, frills. On the way home from the allergist this morning I saw three pigeons bathing in a dirty puddle. They're just out here scraping by like the rest of us.

it is so sad knowing that humankind domesticated pigeons just to abandon them and find them disgusting after how much care we used to give them. like today i learned pigeons were traditionally cliff-dwellers, it used to be a sign of status if u had a fancy birdcoop with a bunch of pigeons, rich ppl would trade pigeons with eachother like pokémon cards, and also there was a rlly lazy carrier pigeon during one of the wars named old satchelback which is iconic

creating more

This was one of my new years resolutions: creating more stuff and not being satisfied by simply consuming media, art, coffee etc. I felt like I was floundering and too caught up with work to really find the time to explore this side. I should also preface this by saying I'm definitely not someone who identifies as a creative person. However, pi.fyi has been a cool way to do this with no risk or fear. Sure, my posts are dumb jokes and it's completely meaningless but it makes me feel alright and it's fun to interact with you freaks.

Get a little slutty when you drink water

it helps quench your thirst if you chug desperately, throwing in a bit of unnecessary eye contact, little water droplets running down your neck giving you a chill, letting out a moan when you finish drinking…. I think I hauve covid
