The pigeons in union square, washington square park, and Columbus circle are all very well socialized. Go to pet co and get a big bag of seeds (or just some bread) and get out there… you can have a cute photo op and also they’re nice. they are nice and they are beautiful, is the main thing. They will not give you diseases even if they land on you! Also the high line, the MAD museum, the folk art museum, and the met Are all good places to go, if you don’t want to feed pigeons

pigeons are cute and chubby and have beautiful iridescent coats. they remind me of my cats. incredible that we are surrounded by these creatures. there is one sitting next to me on a park bench that took my breath away.

Pigeon Feast

pigeons evolved to roost in rocky outcroppings, which makes them perfectly adapted to city life. a domesticated pigeon will freak out if you give em a brick to stand on because it reminds them of home 🥲

only watch obscure movies that are nearly impossible to find

scoured the internet for two weeks trying to find a beautiful old danish movie that literally doesn’t exist online. finally found a comment on facebook that mentioned the movie, messaged the person (a sweet old lady), walked her through the process of burning her dvd into a copy and getting it processed into a digital file to send to me. It was such an archaic file type that I had to download old software that probably gave my computer viruses but it was the best movie ever and i would do it again now watching netflix feels too easy
