lyric guitar lines, beautiful mundanity, sophisticated and simple songs. I've been a fan since their debut album I Was Trying to Describe You to Someone and they‘ve only grown from there.

Wednesday is a perfect band for these vibes any album is great but i love Twin Plagues a lot or the song ‘fate is..’ or November off the album “i was trying to describe you to somebody”

twee and minimal with lots of cute vocalizations. funny that their debut was a kind of generic shoegazy pop album because this is a totally different direction.
also, someone else already mentioned it, but the upcoming Wednesday album will almost surely be an album of the year contender. the singles are my two favorite songs of 2025 so far, and their last album (Rat Saw God) is a 10 for me. shoegazy country with lyrical themes of grief, love, loneliness, and Southern living.

Dan Wriggins understated baritone accompanied by his narrative closeness feels like walking down a city block after smoking too many cigarettes the night before. Their new album just came out today (!). Excited to listen, the single off of it was one of their most melodic songs yet.

The story follows a detective investigating a string of gruesome murders where an X is carved into the neck of each victim, and the murderer is found near the victim of each case and remembers nothing of the crime.

the quasi post-hyperpop sound will always be shocking and fun when it’s done right. this album (or mixtape I guess) gets a vinyl release in May according to rumors. FFO underscores, clarence clarity
