Dan Wriggins understated baritone accompanied by his narrative closeness feels like walking down a city block after smoking too many cigarettes the night before. Their new album just came out today (!). Excited to listen, the single off of it was one of their most melodic songs yet.

Friendship is probably my favorite band. This record is like hiding in the closet as a kid and smelling your parents’ clothing in the dark. And sometimes whiffs of these songs bring back big memories, some really hard to revisit, some really buzzy and shiny. I dunno if there’s another band that quite captures what it’s like to be alive as Friendship does for me. They are wood grain warmth and waffle syrup sweet. I hope they become your favorite band, too.

from the minds of the chicago wunderkinds who went on to form deerest friends, sharp pins, lifeguard, post office winter, and other hallogallo/related-teen-indie-rock-brilliance came this delightful project wonderfully meshes together eras of indie rock/pop to create something so unique and magical, haven’t stopped thinking about it for a while
this is one of those records that gets people to get their friends together to start their own band

i remember seeing this couple a while ago on Feeld looking for a third. Bio was:
Her: 5’6" late 30s, bisexual, sexy mommy vibes, fantastic sexual energy if you can tap into it Him: 6’1" mid 40s, straight, not heinous looking, has a weiner, utilitarian.
I’m sure they’re both great :)

like 75% sure it was him. working at a ski shop and a man named john called and sounded EXACTLY like him asking about a product we had sold out of. wouldn't give his last name or phone number in case the product restocked.

Never thought I’d laugh out loud at a 19th century novel. Captures the strangeness of life amidst the mundanity like a painting.
