You already have it at home, might as well crumple some up and figure out what to do with it. I wrapped a rock and a wine cork for a mobile a couple years back.
Also have used it as a background and cutout for collages. it’s fun seeing how what you make changes as the light hits it differently.
go get magazines or books from the thrift store and make some art. functional sometimes even,,??!?!! this is the lid to a box i will store trinkets in. one of these cut outs is from a magazine i photo copied for a quarter cuz i didnt wanna ruin the original. theres so many possibilities ! ive even used junk mail newspaper ads that usually get thrown away
just ordered a huge roll of tin to tin emboss. it’s so versatile and fun for crafts. 10/10 would recommend.
I made these cute little hearts and I think I am going to make a garland.
Get a haircut, get rid of some clothes you haven’t worn in years, get a new houseplant, get in touch with the changing season, get grounded, get stoned, get in touch with some old friends, get some ice cream, get going
Friends you met out in the neighborhood at a bar or park or cafe or wherever a couple times and struck up a rapport with.
You don’t have eachother’s phone numbers, no social media info.
I have a couple friends like this and it’s been such a nice social change up. Always a pleasant surprise to bump into them out and about.
