It has been a long and painful journey of daring myself to not touch my growing out buzzcut. No bleaching, no chopping, nothing drastic! It was only until one and a half years later that I have allowed myself to bleach my hair again, this time to revel in how a small tweak can change me; I am malleable by the care and intention that I put into my body. I change because I choose to, because I have decided, with love for myself and not hatred for what I have, that it is time. ๐
