jangly poppy earworms… never met a song of theirs i didn’t like! probably because they all kind of sound the same, which in most cases i would criticize, but for them it works. start anywhere
if you like any indie rock or pop and anything DIY, chances are its musical lineage can be traced back to The Cleaners from Venus, an 80s pop rock group from Britain. MGMT did a live cover of this song that is quite good. I highly recommend “Only a Shadow” as well as the album its from “Midnight Cleaners”
i was never anti outfit repeating necessarily, but i would think about how recently i wore an article/ensemble or where i wore it, who saw it etc. lately i’ve been rewearing outfits that make me look and feel good without thinking too hard about it and like… i look and feel good
