If a song is stuck in my head it’s not my own doing, Iā€˜m clueless to the reason, I only know I need to listen to it again as soon as possible. I rather enjoy this surrender of control.
Right now it’s Care by Hana Vu. She’s a friend, but that is not why.

Right now it’s the song ā€œLoser, Babyā€ from the show ā€œHazbin Hotelā€ which I didn’t watch but Christian’s friend Grace was visiting and staying with us from NYC this week and the two of them had a jam sesh practicing this song and Grace’s beautiful musical theater/opera trained voice has this catchy song extremely stuck in my head

(slight spoiler) I love to watch Phantom Thread when I’m sick. The music and imagery are beautiful and not abrasive, everyone speaks softly with precision, most of all watching Daniel Day-Lewis suffer from illness alongside me is very comforting.

Not on purpose.. but don’t sweat it when it happens by accident.. it’ll dry quickly enough, then the paper will harden into a crispily wrinkled texture that is so nice to flip through. ok if you must do it on purpose.. drink from an iced beverage on top of your notebook and dew from the surface of the glass will drop down nicely.

In elementary school my best friend and I made up a religion where the deity is a tree in the school yard. We’d go to the tree and pray for good grades and bad luck to the girl we did not like. At the end of each prayer, we’d say ā€œsasasasaā€ as an amen, an onomatopoeia of sand flying from a gust of wind.
