theaccidentalsexcoach ya and just because of how delicate they felt I was thinking like framing it could be cool cause that would be sort of the only way to justify the price

grahamheydorn We had the same conversation! My husband has a tiny b&w original Haring and we thought it would look nice to frame the Haring sweatshirt with it or hang them next to each other. Still bouncung around my head.

My sister in law got one of the original posters and it goes so well with their decor and it’s just such a cool piece of history

The whole thing was unexpectedly emotional for me. 1987 was the year I graduated HS and started at NYU. So much less stratification of classes and access to art being made. The innocence of the project while being so very political - and all those parents bringing their children without worrying about the content! - had me hopeful the exhibit could reseed some of that culture again.
