I run about 15 miles a week and about 13 of those miles are done while high. I recommend everyone give it a shot.
P.S. I was a division one track and field athlete if that makes my advice any more credible.

Everyone capable should try running 20 miles at least once in their life, with or without music.. there are merits to either experience.. and unless you’re trying to win money.. in my opinion just disregard that arbitrary marathon shit, and indulge your account in some of those god given 5/10 finger multiples, i’m honestly even a bigger proponent of running by time 1 hr 2 hr etc…running 20 miles in 2 hours feels nice it’s nothing crazy but everyone is different just get there somehow figure it out it’s easier than you think

I run pretty regularly between May and November. I started again recently because the weather allowed it.  My relationship with exercise is strange. I used to go to the gym for years, but I never was as consistent as I am with running. It’s so practical and, while shoes can be pricey, I really feel like I don’t have an excuse to miss any runs.  I also have an office job. I like it, but there’s something so rewarding and almost primitively enjoyable about running before or after a work day.

It is incredibly hard to quit but I promise it’s worth it. You will feel so much better on a daily basis. If I can do it, you can do it.
