Pretty nontraditional but I attend my local Silent Book Club and really love it. Everyone brings their own book and reads quietly for an hour, socializing before and after. Because a lot of people have shared interests many folks will end up passing a book around and you still get some of the aspects of a more traditional book club. It you go on their website, they have chapters across the US as well as globally (I believe).
