Love casa magazines in west village but they charge $40 for popeye. You can get it for $17 at kinokuniya near bryant park… also way better selection like Brutus + go out. No fudge tho

not sure if i spelled it correctly but it’s in front of bryant park in nyc (and they’re a chain bookstore in japan and have more stores across the US). their basement floor is filled with awesome japanese stationary and trinkets, the main floor has books and the top floor has mangas and anime stuff!! i personally just go for the basement floor everytime ⭐️
they have so much miffy stuff too so im in love.

💘Firstly, Printed Matter duh. I love it there, it truly is a hub of cultural phenomenons and information on everything and anything you can find in book-form. I also checked out Climax recently since they opened their East Village location. SOOOOO cute. very small, but amazing amazing selection. Dashwood is a classic. Miwa has my heart, shoutout her. Mast is cool but they give a little too pretentious for my liking. I still go in every time I pass it though. Karma is sick, has a really cool collection of Purple's first volumes and such. But I'm looking for more shops, lmk where I should gooooo!

😃some used book stores sell vintage or simply older New Yorker magazines, I love to buy them to read the poems/short fiction and do the crossword :)
