Seriously, it is. Euler’s number (e) is soooo much more influential than pi. The mathematical contributions that e makes (the exponential and logarithmic function, hyperbolic and elliptical sine and cosine, the most beautiful equation in the world) outnumber those of pi (lengths/area of a circle?? even this isn’t a contribution that pi has made in and of itself as a number…) I mean yeah, it’s cool that pi shows up everywhere, but atp it’s just like an interesting cameo with circles, and EVEN CIRCLES CAN BE WRITTEN WITH EULERS NUMBER AND THE IMAGINARY NUMBER!!! Honestly what does pi have over e besides the fact that if you add e and pi together you get an excuse to eat pie on March 14.
