it transports you to a world of intrigue and romance and nostalgia and longing... but have to listen to the movie version (the youtube one) bc the other recordings don't have the same impact! love that it's not even every version of the song that does it for me, that it's a very specific captured moment. and nancy sings semi-flat the whole time yet somehow no one else can sing this song right.
